White Moonlight

A popular phrase/ trope in Chinese novels that refers to someone's first love or true love.

Often a character will have a love from when they were younger that was unrequited or they got separated from, causing the character to become cold or prevent them from moving on and finding a new lover.

Did you hear about Chi Nan?

What about him?

His white moonlight is back in town.
