Amy Winehouse Syndrome 

Amy Winehouse Syndrome is a condition where by the fans of an entertainer make excuses for and consistently applaud mediocre performances as a mark of courage and or bravery on the part of the entertainer.

This condition is most prevalent in the fan base of singer Amy Winehouse, a singer whose excessive drug and alcohol abuse often resulted in embarrassing public performances where the singer could not or would not finish a live performance. These performance were often followed by fans defending and justifying the singers behavior which further reinforced and contribute to the entertainers behavioral issues.

Fans of Jorge Lorenzo suffer from Amy Winehouse syndrome, always defending him despite constant childish complaining and poor racing performance.
