Vikringe

The modern day display of behaviors associated with imitating real, or glorified portrayals of vikings in a modern Era. Usually copying examples seen in movies, video games, and TV shows, not actual history. May include social media posts (ex. Tiktok), child/pet names, pretending to follow pagan gods, hair styles, cosplay, mentioning Valhalla, etc.
Jim: Fuck my life, here comes Todd, is he wearing fake furs and carrying an plastic axe?
Todd: Greetings, my fellow warrior, would you care to sample my mead? I brought an extra drinking horn for us to partake!
Jim: Holy shit, I literally can't handle this vikringe anymore.

Todd: til Valhalla, my friend, I must collect my son, Ragnar, from my shieldmaiden!
Jim: Go die, Todd...
