Urgency and Diversity

This is a concept that can be applied in business and in life to overcome adversity and create solutions. Whenever your organization (or yourself) becomes complacent or things are slowing down, you add in urgency and diversity. Diversity in this concept means to change what you are doing or add 'diverse' things to your schedule. Urgency simply means to do and carry out these things with passion, haste, or importance.
Bro 1: Dude, why can't we get brothers to come out to the parties anymore? We have been having the same parties we always have, just with different themes. What's changed?

Bro 2: Man, we have to create Urgency and Diversity! Instead of the same parties, we need to have a river rafting trip with free beer, we need to rent out a venue for a Halloween party, and we need to get everyone to chip in for party buses to go to the Travis Scott concert. That will create the fear of missing out!

Bro 1: Dude, you are so right. Urgency and Diversity!

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
