Unhewittify

To make something less stupid. Specifically, to take a dumb idea, sentence, or plan and fix it so it sounds like it came from someone with at least one working brain cell. Basically, damage control for nonsense.

“He said we should advertise our plumbing business with scented candles. I had to unhewittify that real quick.”
“Jessica tried to explain time travel using pizza toppings. I spent an hour unhewittifying it before the science fair.”
