Text Down

The technology equivalent of "talking down." The only difference is that it comes by way of a text message. In other words, it is a text that someone may send, only they are speaking negatively to the person as though they are not as good as them.

MAN 1 TEXTS: " You are an idiot! Why don't you understand?"
MAN 2 TEXTS BACK "Hey! Don't you dare text down to me!"
MAN 1 TEXTS: "Right. Sorry dude."

Jonny wanted people to notice him on Facebook. So he googled "Upside Down Text" and flipped his Facebook status upside down. Now everyone thinks he's stupid for being such an attention-whore.

A variation on "Down To Fuck," Down to Not Text Back implies a girl that will most definitely not return your digital advances. Usually, this situation can be transparent. However, the worst cases occur when you get totally played and blindsided by a girl who's seemingly really really really into you.

Textdown

When you are have a breakdown through a text message wether it be an emotional breakdown, a mental breakdown or a nervous breakdown but you are texting someone as you are going through the breakdown and explaining it to them.

I was in the middle of my emotional breakdown when my best friend text and asked me what was going on so I begun texting to him what was going on and I said not only am I having an emotional breakdown now I'm doing it through text so now I'm having a full-blown textdown.
