Tangalog

A derogatory portmanteau of "tanga" (Filipino word for "stupid") and Tagalog (the regional people that uses the language of the same word). Often used in international imageboards to annoy anonymous Filipino speaking in Filipino (i.e. Tagalog) on an English-majority posting thread.
Filipino 1: Alam nyo ba, nakakain at nagsex kami ng GF ko kagabi. Share ko lang.

Filipino 2: Do you think we care or ask for your opinion, Tangalog monkey?

Tangalog syndrome

A chronic linguistic disorder found mostly among native Luzon folks who proudly feast on pagpag like it’s gourmet meal prep, yet suddenly feel the need to speak in English halfway through a sentence just to sound smart, deep, or “relate-worthy.” Brain cells switch languages mid-thought because Tagalog wasn't dramatic enough, and English wasn't complete.
I was literally so gutom so I ate two plates of kanin like walang bukas omg I'm still hungry fr no cap Geng Geng(tondo mongoloid clan).

I think I'm having a tangalog syndrome.

Tangalope

A cantaloupe with a hole drilled into it so that you can fuck it.
"I just bought a cantaloupe today. I'm going to make a Tangalope."

Dialect spoken by many Luzon-based Filipinos. Tagalog is generally regarded as the lingua franca among Filipinos at home and abroad, but there are several other dialects spoken across the archipelago, and there is some sensitivity about treating Tagalog as definitively "Filipino."

Also refers to the ethnicity of Tagalog-speaking natives. One theorized origin of the word is "taga-ilog," meaning "from the river."
