The Super Meat Boy Effect is an effect coined by the YouTuber and Twitch streamer Failboat where the idea is the task at hand isn't that hard, but the issue is that because you died to it so much, you now die on the other parts because you're trying to get to the part you're having trouble faster, which then causes the cycle to loop all over again.
