subtractor

An individual that makes a situation horrible, someone who cannot possibly help out, a negative luckless person, a minus of life.

Someone who either directly or indirectly kills and maims people, a person that is a general menace of calamitous mishap.
"There's no way we're bringing a subtractor with us; tell Capt. Buzzkill he can stay home and destroy his own life."

"If there is some way we can get them to hire a subtractor, their campaign will be doomed."

History of this definition:
I wrote an article in response to news about doctors stabbing infants with vaccine needles and the infants would soon die. Included was a simple formula to explain the logic of this problem where I referred to the doctor as like a “subtractor” because they minus life either directly or indirectly, and intentionally or haplessly. I decided to define a “subtractor” further to include individuals that people don’t want around because they bring misfortune, screw up lives and are generally useless in a crisis.

Subtractitall

What Adderall starts to do after you get a little too into it. It subtracts weight, money, time, sleep, patience, body temperature, and attention span. It "subtracts it all."
Prescribing doctor: I'm going to prescribe you Adderall, to help you focus and give you more energy to complete your tasks.

Patient: Thanks, doc. Anything I need to know?

Doctor: Yes. If you abuse it, it'll take everything away from you that makes you human. It'll give your skin the cold, slick sheen of a lizard, and your mind the attention span of a grasshopper. You'll forget about your friends, food, showers, why you even asked for this in the first place.
You'll be tore up from the floor up. You'll need a check up from the neck up. You'll go from Adderall... to Subtractitall.

Patient: *already stuffing script in his pocket, walking out the door: Ah, gotcha. Later, doc!

In sales terms, a whale is a prospect that is significantly larger than an organization’s average customer.

Whales are large and extremely difficult to close. Due to their immense size, they are highly sought-after.

A whale is typically identified at first by a whale hunter on the sales team, but often requires cross-discipline participation in order to close; this includes assistance from operations, engineering, creative, client success, and business development teams.
"Shit...the sales director chewed me out on the sales call this morning. He's totally pissed that I have nothing in my pipeline. I've been focused on this one whale for so long that I haven't had time to prospect for normal-sized deals."

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.
