A bizarre social movement hailing from New Zealand. Its origins are unknown and the ideology seems to largely stem from a belief in goblins.

stultimal

A person whose actions or statements are so profoundly incompetent or clueless that it is impossible to determine whether the behavior stems from genuine stupidity or deliberate malice, deceit, or harmful intent. The two explanations become functionally indistinguishable.

“Our IT director is a textbook stultimal—every system outage could be either breathtaking ignorance or a quiet act of sabotage.”

“Don’t bother debating that stultimal on the committee; you’ll never know if they’re brain-dead or just evil.”
