Squere 

A square is a conservative, traditional person that avoids alcohol and is often seen as book-oriented. A squire is a person known to treat others well and be a person of good manners and intellect. A squere (pronounced the same as square) is that rare person who lies directly between squire and square, as symbolized by the letter 'e' occurring precisely between a and e. He is often looked at with hatred and jealousy and suffers many plot and coup attempts, but his close friends, family, and wife stick beside him because they know him to be a very reliable and faithful person. He does not promote bigotry and stands up against abusers at considerable risk to himself. He wins his battles though they may be long and drawn out when the winds of jealousy are strong.
