A grammatical category of words frequently used by members of sororities. Sorority girls are afraid of normal articles like "the" "an" and "a", so they use the silent sorority version.

Sorority girls never say: "I am going to THE meeting tonight. Do our pledges have to go to THE activity with us? Let's go to A pizza place before THE meeting. What should I wear to THE formal?"

Rather, they use the sorarticle (silent the, an, or a), and they say "I am going to meeting tonight. Do our pledges have to go to activity with us? Let's go to pizza place before meeting. What should I wear to formal?"

Pledge: "When is the chapter meeting?"
Sister: "No, you can't say THE when you're in a sorority. You have to use the silent sorarticle!"
Pledge: "Ooooh, sorry! When is chapter meeting?"
Sister: Much better!!

Solastic 

Solastic describes a multifaceted emotional and psychological state in which a person feels profoundly alone, unseen, and trapped within their own mind. It is a condition where internal experiences of sadness, isolation, and disappointment converge, creating a persistent feeling of emptiness that is difficult to articulate.

Solatic 

1. A person addicted to the sun. Feels vibrant, alive, and fully charged when exposed to sunlight. The opposite of a lunatic (moon-struck).
2. One who habitually seeks sunlight for energy, mood, and inspiration—sometimes even engaging in “ball sunning” (exposing genitals to sunlight) to maximize perceived vitality.

Origin: From sol (Latin for “sun”) + -atic (as in lunatic).
