Snickerclique 

A social phenomenon where a group chat or private group, initially formed with the intent of mocking or ridiculing a mutual acquaintance or someone deemed annoying, evolves into a community with its own hierarchy. Members of this clique are predisposed to laugh at, treat uncharitably, and sow discord about individuals outside their group, often targeting those who are struggling or attempting to manipulate public perception of someone. This term underscores the clique's underlying motivation of amusement at the expense of others.

After realizing that their group chat had turned into a snickerclique, dedicated to making fun of their classmates, Jordan decided to leave, uncomfortable with the negative and unkind direction the conversations had taken.
