Smaquaintance 

‘Social media acquaintance’ or ‘Smaquaintance’. An old acquaintance who you would no longer consider a friend, but of who’s life details you are fully aware because you still follow them on social media.

My ex’s cousin just went to Bali and the photos looked amazing; we haven’t spoken in 10 years but we are smaquaintances.

Susan posts amazing banana bread recipes on Instagram, which I often use, it pays to be her smaquaintance!

Sexquaintance 

A person you meet - usually via the internet - for the purposes of forming a repeatitive sexual relationship - not for the purposes of friendship. Less then a 'friends w/benefits', but more then a random hook up or one-night stand.

Sally met and spent the evening with Todd, her new sexquaintance she met from Craig's list.

When Sam isn't dating, he prefers liaisons with sexquaintances instead of hook ups.
