The only value in filthy, disgusting, violent, or obscene materials in the media (television shows, movies, online forums, etc.). Ironically, these things have become so common that even the shock value is gone, leaving their existence pointless and the masses desensitised (or disgusted).

Shock Value Fatigue

The desensitization of seeing shocking, offensive, or otherwise disgusting content online constantly to the point of exhaustion. Especially when said content is preferred by the algorithm of social media sites for monetary gain.
"Shock Value Fatigue has made it exhausting to watch videos on YouTube. I'm worried that I might find something really disgusting."
