Selfocracy

Selfocracy is a word created by Belgian singer/songwriter and dancer Loïc Nottet. The word represents that looking into mirrors too long will ruin your mental health and cause mental illnesses like anorexia, anxiety and depression. Selfocracy means the realization to stand up and break the mirrors, to become self-aware and finally be your true self.

Selfocracy is the title of Loïc Nottet's debut album released in 2017.

It's the first song on his album.

I hope he'll finally stop looking in the mirror too long for one day. Selfocracy is important.

A form of government that is nominally democratic where voters are so easily influenced by TV and social media that its really an oligarchy where who's in charge changes every few years.

The US has turned into such a sheepocracy.
