Screwithity

The quality of being amenable to ad-hoc adjustments, "number 8 wire" fixes, or clever field modifications. It describes a system, machine, or concept that is designed (or accidentally built) to be easily "mucked about with" using only available tools and intuition. It is the art of the functional workaround.

While Screwithity covers practical, ingenious fixes to keep things running, it serves as the entry point to high-level Fuckwithity, where systems are completely re-engineered for unintended purposes.

The beauty of a 90s tractor is its screwithity—if a sensor fails in the back paddock, you can usually bypass it with a paperclip to get the job done; however, if you want to bypass the governor and remote-control the throttle from your phone, you're stepping into the realm of pure fuckwithity.

Looking or experiencing something nice after witnessing something horrid like a disgusting gif or a disturbing video. Typically used as eye bleach are nice images of whatever makes the disturbed person happy.

Stroad

Noun. Portmanteau of "street" and "road": it describes a street, er, road, built for high speed, but with multiple access points. Excessive width is a common feature. A common feature in suburbia, especially along commercial strips. Unsafe at any speed, their extreme width and straightness paradoxically induces speeding. Somewhat more neutral than synonymous traffic sewer.

Did you see what the traffic engineers want to do to our street? They're going to turn it into a total stroad!
