Scout 80

The first generation of the 20th century's International Harvester civilian and military utility vehicle. An "International Light Line Truck" built between the years 1960 & 1965.5
Though the Scout 80 was normally equipped with an L4 engine (152 or 196), that 4-banger could prove without argument that an IH L4 was technically half an IH SV8... and that it was still a thirteen letter shit spreader.

Scout 800

The second generation of the 20th century's International Harvester civilian and military utility vehicle. An "International Light Line Truck" built between the years 1965.5 & 1971.5. Models included the standard 800, the 800A (1969-1971) and the 800B (1971-1971.5)
Not many Scout 80s were offered the V8. It was a special option, considered mainly for government contract and didn't become popular for the small trucks until about the time the Scout 800 was produced.
