A stembro is a student (usually in high school or undergrad) that excels in STEM courses and goes out of their way to make sure others are aware of it. They also often put down/shame others who are struggling in their courses or those in lower level coursework. They are often narcissistic and insecure.
"John is such a stembro, he told Billy he wasn't intellectually fit for the math major after he got a C on his linear algebra exam."
