Rampolator.
A machine occupying the mid point between escalator and travelator.
An inclined travelator generally found in Asda superstores leading to the mezzanine floor.
An escalator without steps.
Always occupied by an OAP with a trolley magnetically safety locked thus preventing you from overtaking or walking to reach the upper floor more quickly.

On the rampolator one day I was mown down by a runaway trolley with a broken magnet. The OAP and I landed in a heap by the cigarette counter.
