Push wood

The act of lifting weights for exercise; The expression to "push wood" originated in early colonial times when settelers had to cut down wood and roll, pull or PUSH it to it's destination. The results of the aformentioned activities gave settlers a lean muscular physique and is similar to the results gym goers today strive for.
