PunThrow
An outside based game for 6+ people with no max numbers, played with a small rugby ball or american football.
Split into 2 teams which are then based approx 20-30 meters apart. The field of play boundaries to be agreed before play commences. An out of bounds area to be determind and the half way point to be agreed as all returns must go over the halfway line or the defensive team automatically score a point. Out of bounds will also automatically score a point for the receiving team.
Play begins with either a Punt or a Throw of the ball towards the other team who must catch it cleanly. If the ball is dropped or not caught then the offensive team will score a point. If the ball is caught then no score and play continues. Each team taking it in turns to return a ball to try and score a point. Each return must be within the play boundaries and must be catch-able by the receiving team.
Plays well on grass but would also play well on a beach. Winning score must be 2 clear points ahead.
