When somebody is friends with every girl in the school but can’t pull anyone. Everybody makes fun of that person. They get friend zoned immediately after they meet the person.

Me: Yo did you see him talking to that girl?
Friend: Yea but, he was pulling a Troy.

It is universally known that men(or women) named Troy very rarely show up to predetermined events. So to describe the act of not showing us is ‘Pull a Troy’

I didn’t see you at the Pub yesterday, were you Pulling a Troy.

I’ll see you for the 1:30 show unless you Pull a Troy
