Psychogetically (adverb)

Definition:
In a manner by which a person comes to understand, accept, or internalize an idea through psychological and emotional experience rather than through intellectual explanation alone.

Descriptive use:
Something is understood psychogetically when a person does not simply know it intellectually—they get it because an experience, emotion, realization, or change in perspective causes the idea to become personally meaningful.

In simpler terms:
Psychogetically = when something moves from “I understand what you’re saying” to “Now I actually get it.”

Example:
The leadership exercise was designed to help participants understand accountability psychogetically; rather than simply defining ownership, it placed them in a situation where they could experience the consequences of avoiding it.
