The town of Pontefract's affectionate name. Dubbed 'Pontecarlo' due to it's striking resemblance to Monte Carlo, with it's beautiful scenery and vibrant night life. The peak attraction for the evening being 'Big Fella's', a classy discotheque of the highest order. Twinned with Casvegas (Castleford, Yorkshire), Pontecarlo's rival sibling.

Soggy Montecarlo

A montecarlo is a delicious Australian biscuit with a jam and cream centre, well-known to have a short shelf-life once exposed to air, as the moisture inside spreads and makes the biscuit soggy.
A soggy montecarlo is therefore anything (be it person, object, consumable) desirable that is noticeably past its prime, usually in a pejorative sense
