Phone fright

Like stage fright, but phone fright. Afraid or dislikes to talk on the phone. Usually prefers texting. Nervous when the phone rings.

Steve: you never answer your phone when I call, what, you got phone fright or something?

knife fight in a phone booth

A chaotic scene or moment. (As you can imagine, if two people had a knife fight in a phone booth, it would be rather chaotic.)

I only invited a few close friends to the party, but when I opened the door, it was like walking into a knife fight in a phone booth.
