Phlegmbolism

1. When normal breathing, phlegm, snot, or saliva is aspirated into the lungs causing violent coughing that can induce a stroke or death.

In my 20's I hardly ever choked. But now that I am 40, I can have a phlegmbolism sitting at the table or lying in bed.
