Peeavesdropping

The act of pretending to need to pee in order to snoop on the arguments and/or conversations of others.

1. Can be used as an excuse to leave the room in order to gain information.

2. Can also refer to listening to conversations through the bathroom walls.

1. I was peeavesdropping on my dad last night to find out why he was arguing with his girlfriend.

2. I enjoy peeavesdropping on my roommates to find out what they really think of me.

Clandestine surveillance of one or more individuals to ascertain what they typically grumble about.

Most complaining-prone individuals are more than willing to openly voice their chief gripes to anyone who will listen, so there should seldom be any need to resort to peevesdropping in order to become privy to said subject matter!
