Outsplain

When a person attempts to talk themselves out of a racist/homophobic/sexist statement after being called out.

Trying to dig oneself out of a hole.

I told him his remarks were sexist, he then proceeded to outsplain himself "oh, yeh, no, well, whet I meant was...."
