Ocean County
A county located in the south central/south part of New Jersey. Most consider it total backwoods pine barrens, despite the fact that everything is developed like any central jersey town till you get south of Manahawkin (being if you don't go about 10 minuets west). The pinnacle of the shore, featuring both Seaside and Long Beach Island. If you are a local kid, you know that Ocean County is a beach/suburb/pineland clusterfuck. Most who reside here will probably tell you that there is nothing to fucking do. In the summer, our beaches are overrun by tourists, and by winter, everything is closed. We have the shittest mall known to man, and music venues consist of firehouses and elks lodges. Most kids just end up drunk/high at a local Applebee's or diner, followed by a trip to the outside of the movie theaters to smoke cigarettes, start fights, and trash local retail stores. All in all, Ocean County is known to everyone else as a shore resort, but to those who live here as a place where Suburbia goes to die.
In Ocean County you get all the fun of the beach, Central Jersey suburbia, and backwoods pine barrens.
