Nations League

Just a glorified international friendly tournament. Most likely founded by the Welsh to tire out and injure the English squad before the World Cup as they stand no chance on the 29th of November
“The Nations league is a pile of crap” .(Anonymous, 2022)
“But it’s not only playing games, it’s the training, it’s the travelling, it’s everything. Sometimes you go away and travel, but you do not play. It's even exhausting.” (KDB, 2022)
“The tournament feels a little bit more important than it actually is.” (KDB, 2022)

UEFA Nations League

A competition by U€FA that literally no one asked for, but we have to deal with, that ranks every single member of UEFA into four different leagues, so that the "best play the best" and so that the lower teams won't get battered by better nations, and another way for UEFA to get richer.
Person 1: " Yo, did you watch the UEFA Nations League match between England and Italy?"
Person 2: "Yep, and it was the lamest fucking shit I've ever seen."

UEFA Nations League

A type of competition introduced by UEFA in 2018 for all nations and territories of Europe to make themselves more known to the world by their football (soccer) skills.
Person 1: Forget England, France, Spain and Italy! The other European nations are good in the UEFA Nations League!

Person 2: Indeed! I got to see Serbia, Greece and Estonia performing really well!

God Shot

A chance happening with profound meaning, an unexpected blessing, a "sign".
Dr. Drew on Celebrity Rehab said "All of a sudden what had been just another Hollywood proposal became for him an unexpected blessing, an opportunity for growth. In drug recovery language, that's called a "God shot."

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.

A slang term used to describe a bald person, typically someone who is completely bald or has a closely shaved head. The term is derived from the infamous, hairless kids’ cartoon character of the same name.
Example 1:
“Did you see that caillou over there? His head is reflecting the sun like a disco ball.”
Example 2:
“I think Dave is finally accepting his hair loss. He just went full caillou and shaved the whole thing off.”
