Music videos are notorious for containing incredibly large amounts of product placement, such as phones, drinks, perfumes, or websites (Plentyoffish is among the most infamous).

Some are used to add more meaning to the song and to convey the message better(best type), others are just videos of the artists playing the music(casual and the most popular), and some are random and meaningless things/just straight up weird, sometimes enough weird that it ruins the song in rare cases(Miike Snow). But for the most part, music videos are pretty cool and I'm glad they exist.
