Mudflation

Mudflation is the term used to describe inflation in MMOs.

Unlike in a real economy, there is no fixed amount of currency that circulates, but the amount of currency in circulation continuously increases - whenever a player sells an item to an NPC or receives ingame currency as a reward for a quest, this amount is added onto the money already in circulation, whereas in a real economy, this amount would not be conjured from thin air, but taken out of another entities funds.

Mudflation is very undesirable, as it makes gearing up significantly harder for new players.

Popular Anti-Mudflation mechanisms include ingame mail fees, auction house fees, repairs, upgrading or refining fees or consumables.

More recent East-Asian MMORPGs often have a tendency to have too efficient Anti-Mudflation mechanisms, causing players to become "poorer" as they progress in the game.
Bob sells 20 Smelly Livers to NPC Jim.
Bob receives 10 Gold which the game has just created.
Money in circulation: XXXX Gold + 10 Gold -> Mudflation

Bob sells a can of Red Bull to Joe.
Bob receives 2 Dollars, Joe loses 2 Dollars.
Money in circulation: unchanged

Mudflation

Mudflation is an economic issue that exists only in massively multiplayer online games. Mudflation occurs when a more recently acquired or introduced item makes an existing item lose significant value. This is most common when a game releases a new expansion, as expansions tend to have better items.

The problem it seems was Blizzard was afraid of Mudflation. They didn't fully understand that it was going to happen regardless so they made instances with blues that were still less then MC gear

self-mutilation

Hurting yourself in any way at all. Remarkably similar to eating disorders and substance abuse. Can be a cry for attention, a type of self-punishment or just a way of letting out frustration and depression. No matter what the form or reason, this is a disease and a serious, widespread problem. It is also extremely addictive and leads to downwards spirals of reclusive behavior, guilt and high-risk living.
Self-mutilation can be cutting, head-slamming, wrist banging, scratching, picking, burning, bruising- anything painful.

self-mutilation

Self-mutilation is when someone hurts themselves to release some form of pain. Usually cutting, pulling hair, burning, banging etc. Making fun of them is not going to help. Just because you have different ways of coping doesn't mean you should make fun of people that already have problems hating themselves etc. Self-mutilators need help they don't need people picking on them.
Self-mutilation is dangerous. If someone you know is self-mutilating get some kind of help.

Self mutilation

harming ones self on purpose.(burning, cutting, pulling hair, hitting, etc) It is NOT an attempt, or even a sign of suicide. It is not only "emo" or goth kds that do it. Many people do. Some people do it because of depression, attention seeking, and many other reasons. It is not a sign of weakness, it is a cry for help! I know, because i used to cut! And saying bad things about us don't make us better...when people cut it can be just for trends, or for deep emotional problems!! SO STOP SAYING IT IS A TREND OR THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO BE HARDCORE!!! THAT WAS THE LAST THING ON MY MIND WHEN I DID IT!!..........stupid fags....
Self mutilation is a serious problem that needs to be payed more attention to.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
