Monie Gown

Part Kimono and part night gown, a monie gown is a comfortable garment worm over pyjamas, or on its own, and is ideal at bedtime or in the AM while reading the paper, drinking a cuppa, and smoking a cig.

The word originates in West Vancouver, BC, in the Termuende family household.
There goes granny in her monie gown with her cuppa and her cigarette.
