Molyneux

To not deliver to previous promises made regarding the development of something.

To not meet high expectations set by the person (the Molyneux).
The developers of that game really pulled a Molyneux this time.

It looked so good - it turned out to be nothing more than Molyneux.

A Molyneux is a unit of measurement of skepticism and general unimpressedness

Molyneux

One who is of the extreme gay variety, can also be described as a "fairy" or "drug addict", one to be avoided in the corridor otherwise you will be forced into conversations about such things as dildos, or rhosneigr

Molyneux Syndrome

The mindset of a game developer who thinks that his/her game can deliver 'everything (the audience) has ever hoped for' in a game of that genre.

This mindset is named for the developer of Fable, Peter Molyneux. Though a solid game, Fable did not hold up to the revolutionary and dynamic RPG it was set up to be.
He makes sky-high promises and claims he can make a game pretty much by himself and in Flash; this guy has Molyneux Syndrome written ALL over him.

molyneux'd

To over-hype something to the point of building expectations that the final product will never be able to fufill. The word comes from Peter Molyneux who is known to speak candidly about games he is working on, in all cases never truly able to deliver on his word.
After reading all those reviews of this movie, I feel totally molyneux'd after actually seeing it.
