Forum Moderator Syndrome

Forum Moderator Syndrome refers to the act in which a person (Most of the time a person without any social life, e.g. a loser) gets a tiny amount of power via online forums or other online spaces. Once they have been given this tiny amount of power they go crazy with it.
Remy suffers from Forum Moderator Syndrome, he was given Moderator role on a Discord server, and now he's gone mad with power.

discord moderator syndrome

discord moderator syndrome is defined as a pattern of inappropriate power-signaling and patronizing, demeaning, and condescending behavior of a certain type of people who become discord moderators.
while having zero or next to zero power over other people in real life, gaining even the smallest amount of power may corrupt a person, you can tell if somebody has the discord moderator syndrome when they;
begin to abuse moderator powers (E.G; delete messages, mute/ban people based only on personal mood rather than the written rules). when they become increasingly sensitive about any humor at their expense, and/or act as somebody with hyperinflated sense pf self-importance (EGO). when they demand obedience and/or respect from everybody on the server in a way that is not unlike a god complex. And finally; when they begin to talk to those they perceive to be below them like a king would talk to a peasant.
- what's up with Jerry, he has been acting so inappropriately recently
- oh, Jerry got a moderation role on some discord server and now thinks he is a king, he basically has *discord moderator syndrome*

May I have an order of regular degular buttermilk pancakes? Without all the added jazz? Hold the blueberry smiley face, strawberry glaze, chocolate chips and whipped cream.
