Pulled a Melo

The act of settling for something lesser in value or less ideal because it is easier to attain or for monetary reasons. Refers to Carmelo Anthony settling to play for the Nets even though he had his heart set on playing for the Knicks.
Rob: "This hot chick was really into Tobes last night."

Rich: "So did he get with her?"

Rob: "Nah he pulled a Melo and hooked up with some fat chick instead."

Rich: "Typical"
