Mayhem in the A.M.

Verb. The act of consuming copious amounts of alcohol before 12:00 noon. To begin drinking adult beverages early in the day, as early as 7:00 AM, which is when many liquor stores open. Also a way of managing a hangover with "The hair of the dog" method.

Many hardcore alcoholics practice Mayhem in the A.M. daily, starting the day off with a shot and a beer before everything else

"It's 7:15 AM and Robert was leaving the liquor store with plans to be drunk before 10:00. He is going to have some Mayhem in the A.M."

"I drank so much last night the only way today is going to go anywhere is for me to continue with some Mayhem in the A.M."

"John is a big drinker. Every morning is Mayhem in the A.M. for him"

Mayham-in-the-A.M. 

When midnight shift workers proceed to go to the bar and getting completly wasted after their shift ends instead of going home and going to sleep.

Charles: Dude tonight has sucked we should totally arrange some mayham-in-the-A.M.
