Origin: Polynesian variant of names like Magdalene or Madeleine; original Polynesian name meaning ‘beautiful’ or ‘bold.’

Matalena is the feisty mom, who will stand up for anyone who is being bullied. She is the kind woman who gives to every hurting person she sees. Madalena is one of the best people you will ever meet. She is sweet, kind, and very athletic. She has been through some heartbreak, however, she always gets back up (but it may take a bit of sulking). If you have a Madalena, never let go of her! You can talk to her about anything, and she will listen. Although she can be a bit annoying, she will always be there.

Madalena's are the best people to have around, not only are they hot on the outside (thick AS FUCK) but they are really kind and genuine people. They care about the people they love but sometimes may find it hard to express their emotions to people.
They are also great girlfriends, they like being clingy but if you tell them not to be or start to show that then they will follow that and respect your wishes.(they will also get you the best birthday/Christmas presents EVER)
If you ever betray a Madalena then they will try to forgive but never forget, but as soon as you become their enemy...you´re dead meat.
If you are besties with a Madalena she will always have your back and never ditch you for someone else, she will always support you and like having you around in their life.
