Mat Gang

When you have chicken feet and need support with a mat while you're scanning barcodes.

*Make good use of it before 8 PM when Lead Bagger takes it away.*
Me: *scans barcodes*

*8 PM hits*
Lead Bagger: "You need your mat bud?"
Me: "Yeah bud, my chicken feet hurt without it. I'm mat gang you feel me! ✌️"
Lead Bagger: *gives look of disapproval ಠ_ಠ*
Me: "..."
Lead Bagger: "I have to take the mats back at 8 bud."
Me: "Yeah don't worry, I'll take mine back later."
Lead Bagger: *extreme disapproval*
Me: "Ok you can take it now! 😬"

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
