(adj. & n) performing an act that requires access to the face whilst forgetting the presence of a face mask prohibiting it.

Maskaphilia 

The attraction to/fetish of fictional characters who:
-Have objects for heads
-have masks that cover some or most of their face worn at all times
-have a face covered by a shadow, making it not visible
-or any other way of obscuring the face

(bonus points the more in-human it gets)

The word stems from:
Maskaphobia; Fear of masks, or otherwise something obscuring the face on a human body
-philia; a fetish of or abnormal love for a specified thing (example: Necrophilia)
