To make a bet, either due to alcohol-driven bravado or a mistaken estimation of ability, so ridiculous that you finally capitulate and pay up without even undertaking the activity that is the subject of the bet.
UAW Member #1: "Why are wearing Daisy Dukes and a half-cut T-shirt into our bar? You sweet or somethin'?"

UAW Member #2: "Turn around, boy, so I can see the back of your shirt."

Thin Guy: "Dudes, seriously. He lytled a bet. Please let him live. I need that shirt for the wall in my office."

Lytle Paradox

The Lytle Paradox, a perplexing enigma of academia, centers around Jacob Lytle, an exquisitely inept chemistry teacher. His grading prowess resembles a whimsical symphony of arbitrary deductions and misplaced assignments, while his classroom management skills orchestrate a chaotic ballet of disarray and bewilderment, leaving students entranced by the bewildering allure of his educational pandemonium.

More from Urban Dictionary
West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
They're playing nu-metal now, bloody grebos!
