To let your frustratoins, anger, etc. go and not let it stress you out like it has been doing. Letting go means you don't have to stress over whatever you're letting go anymore.

The feelings tied with what you're letting go may still hold a place in your heart, but it is better to let whatever it is go and get on with your life than to let it hold you down and depressed.
They let each other go because they knew it wouldn't do any good staying together. It was a mutual break up.

They've moved on and are living happier lives now. I'm sure they're both happy they let go that stressful relationship.

let go line

The opposite of a pick up line. (One of) the last things said the morning after.

While a pick up line is designed to start a short term relationship, the let go line is given to end it.

Let Go and Let God

When you realize that your effort or past, or what people think or say about your shortcomings, inadequacies, or failures, doesn’t determine your future, but God does, because He is in control of the universe and of your life.
Until you let go and let God Be in charge of your life, it’s hard for you to see His blessings flow through your life—God is concerned about what concerns you, because He wants you to experience his power, not just knowing about Him and His goodness.

trucker's tan

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.
I had a trucker's tan after driving for 10 straight hours on a sunny day.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.

Pee Calculus

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
I saw Satantango last night, wonderful film but by the 5th hour I had to start doing pee calculus.
