Ketchupate 

Given that ketchup is used for a variety of applications other than a condiment, “ketchupate” is the act of applying ketchup to any surface.

I heard that if you ketchupate quartersawn red oak the wood turns blonde after being kiln dried. It has something to do with the acidity of ketchup.
