A Cthonic demon, pictured as a wolf with hair only on its paws, in Inuit culture. It is said to confuse and disorient travelers and hunters with mind tricks, leading them to unrecognisable territory in the Arctic. It then waits for its victims to freeze to death before eating them. It is known to be a harbinger of death if a non-victim is to see it.

We lost a hunter to the evil spirit, Keelut.
