The deep psychic pain that accompanies the awareness that insufferable or deadly, yet entirely predictable and avoidable conditions, have become reality only because because no one believed their objective and entirely rational prediction.
My kassandralgia is pretty bad today because despite decades of well established scientific research, there are individuals in power who will doom us all to oblivion for the merest of trinkets: their political purposes.
