To run for president as a democrat with no realistic plan for how to capture swing states and then lose them all.

Gavin Newsome? As soon as people find out he is Nancy Pelosi's relative and protege his candidacy is over. His negatives are already high and just get higher after that. Because people will see Pelosi in him. He is slick guy from California who was a poor Governor. He can't win the rustbelt and southwestern Hispanics don't like him. He would get Kamalaed.

Cooper, Shapiro, Whitmer are all good rustbelt candidates. No gurantee they would win the election, but none of them would get Kamalaed in the swing states.
