Jokeblocking, an act usually carried out by a jokeblocker, is the gesture of deliberately ruining someone's attempt to tell a joke or cause others to laugh, either by distraction or dismissal. Not to be mistaken for cockblocking

When you want to go jogging, but there are either too many people on the track already, or a sporting event like a football game or track meet, so you can't go jogging.

Chris: Why didn't you go jogging today?

Misti: There was a football game so I couldn't jog on the track....I got jogblocked.
