Jikook is a big ship in the kpop scene. They look like a couple, act like a couple and do couple things. A lot of the time they seem to wear matching clothes, (Just Google Jikook matching) and in Korean culture it is a huge deal. Couples will often wear something matching or at least very similar. Jikook are believed by a large number to be dating but are also very much denied. Even without the status. Jikook are feared because they look too real and with many reducing their relationship down to fan service or a made up relationship to cover “the real gay relationship” Jikook are very much disliked and disowned by a large portion of BTS stans. I call this, Jikookphobia.

A lot of K-ARMY are Jikookers as they are more well known in their own country as being the closest to the real deal.
Jimin and JK have one of the most precious bonds from BTS, they are extremely close and enjoy skinship on a different level to other ships, (Rosebowl/hickeygate/GCFT/selcas/couple clothing on specific dates/and much more) hence why K-ARMY ship them.
Many other shippers are jealous of Jikooks bond & how they act around each other & many label their relationship as “fan-service” simply because they don’t like to acknowledge just how romantic their relationship looks.
They are also know by other shippers as a beard for Taekook. Jikook exists to hide Taekook, according to BH, they decided to hide a gay couple (Taekook) by promoting a fake gay couple yet the fake gay couple actually consists of half of the real gay couple. Head fucked? Same!
Jikook are also fake because they are so vocal about their private life. The latest, them being alone drinking the night before rehearsal & Jikook telling their story of how JK spun Jimin around bridal style, JM asked JK to stop but JK wouldn’t so Jimin bit/sucked his neck, leaving what appears to be a hickey. Other shippers say this is too loud to be real because of homophobia, yet apparently their company has no problems in pushing a fake gay couple to receive homophobia in place of the real gay couple,
