A skier originating from the state of New Jersey. Generally goes out-of-state to "ski" because there are no large ski resorts in New Jersey.
Jersey skiers exhibit the habits of gapers, but exhibit some of there own unique traits, such as skiing with just a balaclava, but no helmet and skiing without poles.
Jersey skiers are famous for their stance, in which their skis are spread very far apart, and usually in a slight or not-so-slight V shape.
That Jersey skier just gaped that jump without poles!
